Irish food is a major element of Irish culture- from famous mythical feasts to folklore, customs, rituals and traditions- Gaelic Language, Traditional Music - all full of wonderful references to food.  You will learn about the suprisingly rich history of Irish food- and how colonization and emigration interrupted this cuisine, until it emerges again in the 21 century. And you get to try it all! Classes include mythology, history, Irish Language and modern Ireland.

 Farming & Fishing

Ireland is known for its green hills and endless farmland, and its these agricultural pursuits which lead to Ireland having some of the finest quality produce anywhere in the world. The Wild Atlantic Coastline yields the freshest of seafood and shellfish.
Local, organic, farm-to-table ingredients  have formed the bedrock of Irish food quality. We'll learn about this produce from the source, visiting local dairy farms, whiskey distilleries - tasting as we go, of course!
